Live with intention

It’s is about getting out and adventuring. Go places, try things, and push beyond what the original plan was. Because beyond the original plan is where the adventure awaits.

I don’t claim to do everything, but I am willing to try. Poke around this site to see if anything I have done, anywhere I have been, or any equipment I use piques your interest. Or don’t. Either way, I will write about it, putting it on the ol’ interwebs for all the cyber peeps.

Let me leave you with this. In order to get out there too, you have to make the decision to do something.

Decide.

Search the web. Buy the ticket. Plan the route. Get the kayak. Make the reservations. You have to DO something. Ready? GO!

Live with intention.

I bought a ticket just because it was cheap.

And because I bought that ticket, I got to find this scarcely populated Hawaiian beach on Oahu. I rented a car, took a road to the end, and parked along the roadway. It was a warm January day, the water was perfect and the snorkeling was spectacular.

My advice to you is to stop reading about finding hidden gems, or getting out of town, going on that hike, staying at a famous hotel in another city, going on a cruise, bungee jumping off a bridge, bike riding across another country or whatever drives you to feel alive. And go find your own source of happiness. It is so easy to make reservations or plans. Once you do, you’re committed and the adventure already begins. Instead of daydreaming about doing something fantastic one day, you now can know you ARE GOING and can start daydreaming about YOUR ADVENTURE.

I say it again, live with intention.
